#120065 RE: Billybob_TX #120062

My participation in this thread is only as I have an interest in having the analysis be conducted in a logical way, that also has potential to provide feedback that recognizes value, adds to or enhances value...

What if the board marks had only a color code to tell you the trend ?

"Whooo Whooo... boardmarks are GREEN today!!!" is not what I think is a post giving much of a real addition of value to the thread... while also noting that there is unique value in the information, if not in the unique way it is presented ? The same problem exists with price, volume, or any other metric...

It seems to me the problem is not the metric but the way it is addressed... by posters and by admin rules both... the hypothetical post above being different in tone and value than: "Hey guys, I have just added this board to my list of favorites, because I think the quality of this board adds a lot of value to my understanding of this stock." ? Or: "Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I have deleted this board from my list of favorites"... because
..."the great DD here shows me this stock isn't for me"
..."the conversation here is void of content"
..."the conversation here is over my head"
..."Joe, the moderator sucks"... etc.

Parse the line between the value of the board marks, and the value judgment of the stock, vs. the quality/content of the board ? The metric has dual or multiple purposes... suggesting there may be value for IHub, and investors here, in adding resolution ?

Excellant post Tim.

I like the term "over-lawyer".

Maybe it should read "over judge" as this may be more suiting
