Several things about your post:

1.There has been NO PR stating Mobile Discovery has partnered with Mobile Discovery
2. You forgot to address the most important issue: dilution that is making our shares worth less and less, as YA's ownership keeps increasing. Any future success is likely to be YA's benefit, not ours (by the time it happens our percentage will be minimal).
3. NEOM and Scanbuy are collaborating as they have suits against each other? Come on.
4. Actually, you WERE born yesterday:
Alias Born On: Wednesday, October 29, 2008

But nice post.

I can see where a lot of what you said has "coincindental" written all over it....I certainly hope you are right about your analysis....It makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways....Just understand that many of us have been in NEOM for several (5+ years)....The waiting is getting very old...I understand that the "market" might not have been ready to launch this technology just yet, but it certainly appears that times might be changing!!! Good post and let's see how this NEOM/Scanbuy relationship all pans out...

Very pragmatic and well orchestrated post

The best I've seen yet in quite some time; years maybe! I believe we may well differ on a few items; dilution being a major drag on all shareholders and any prospective investor as well as MC COO function being another, as AR being at the same negotiating table while a certain other was excluded during the time of the SuperCompany contract negotiations/finalizations. But by all other accounts, IMHO, you are squarely on-point. And by the way, here is your answer regarding PS and MENSA:

Thank you kindly for putting your genuine and meticulous thoughts to paper, as they have not gone unnoticed. Lastly, will you be attending MobileBarCode Camp here in Manhattan on Saturday, 11/15/08, 9:15am - 6:00pm:

http://barcamp.org/MobileCampNYC3

Microsoft HQ
1290 Ave of the Americas, Fl. #6
New York, NY 10104

I assure you, it will be very much worth your while, as all major PWC movers & shakers will be present. RM and I will be in attendance. Also, I expect key media coverage there as well. If not, then see you at the ASM.

All the Best, JP

At last, the nutty putty takes form...now we await the breath of life. Many thanks BC.

I hope NeoM has some inovative gamers in their stable. Like to see their technologies hit the market with a series of challenges and rewards using imaging, rfid, and gps integrations to introduce this technology. People love to play games. Just a thot. Best to everyone. Pick.

Be Confident

You remind me a lot of myself when I first joined this board back in May 2006. I sported a nice pair of rose colored glasses with dreams of grandeur, much like yourself.

For starters, I have $30,000 invested in NeoMedia and currently $25,000 in the red. Other shareholders on this board have a lot more invested than I. Over the last few years, we have watched in agony as the stock price fell from a high of 75 cents a share, down to a miserable and embarrassing $0.002

Here have a look at the stock chart, it's a thing of beauty:
http://i33.tinypic.com/xaxnqs.png

You state: "Forget about dilution. Move on. You are living in the past." Are you delusional? We shareholders have to deal with dilution everyday. Take a second look at that stock chart above.

I've spoken with both sides, and your NeoMedia/Scanbuy "collaboration" theories are just not true. Especially in light of the patent infringement suit. Management from both NeoMedia and Scanbuy simply do not like each other and would rather see the other out of business.

Regarding Mobile Discovery, there was a PR that NeoMedia issued back in September on the GoMo News website, but it was pulled quickly after:

NeoMedia and Mobile Discovery Join Forces to Fast-track 2D Code Proliferation

CTIA WIRELESS, SAN FRANCISCO, CA, SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 – NeoMedia
Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: NEOM), and Mobile Discovery, Inc., two leading providers of mobile barcode solutions, today announced they have formed a strategic partnership.

The way it was explained to me, it is an alliance of mutual need. Mobile Discovery needed the NeoReader and NeoMedia needed a platform. NeoMedia's relationship with AT&T is also of interest to Mobile Discovery since Scanbuy lost AT&T's support.

Additionally, OMA and GSMA do not want a proprietary code (EZcode) and do not back Scanbuy (See OMA & GSMA white papers).

There is simply no collaboration between NeoMedia and Scanbuy.

Your theory regarding what 2D barcodes are being used in Mexico is also not true. When NeoMedia partnered with Mobalis and Telcel for the Mexico Tennis Open, Aztec codes were used. NOT Scanbuy's EZcodes.

Here are some additional cases in point:

http://www.neoreader.com/fileadmin/Live_Codes/Compilation01.jpg
http://www.neoreader.com/fileadmin/Live_Codes/Compilation02.jpg

Regarding Google, according to Google's Sean Owen, "We would of course never knowingly do anything that infringes on a patent. Google, however, does have a legal team that is aware of the project, as with all Google’s launches. They do evaluate projects before launch for legal issues. Like I said we know of no reason to think there is any patent infringement here — or else it (ShopSavvy) would of course never have been released. I can add to this that the Neomedia patent was recently invalidated by the USPTO due to the EFF's efforts, something I think is widely viewed as the right decision."

Look, I would like nothing more than for NeoMedia to become the dominate world leader in mobile code technology, make a lot of money, and reward us shareholders with a skyrocketing stock price. Unfortunately though, that just hasn't been the case.

So until I see otherwise, I will continue to be "annoying" as you say, and I will continue hitting all the blogs and news sites.

Best,
Sean

This really is a classic read on the history of NeoMedia. In hindsight, it is perhaps a case study on the reasons not to invest in company. Some important quotes:

“Hmm, did anyone take the time to investigate Paul Strzelecki of Yorkville Advisors? Did anyone know that Paul is a member of MENSA? Does anyone know anything about MENSA? Does anyone care to elaborate on MENSA and how it may relate to NeoMedia’s future success?”

“Of course, if NeoMedia retains the rights to the patent, or even a portion of the claims therein, you will be looking at a company that stands to eventually dwarf the majority of companies in the world.”

“I assure you, based on what I’ve seen on this board, only one or two of you may know anything that might be worth calling [NeoMedia] about. BTW, I’ll almost assure you that you are living in the past… Come on fellas, I was born many years ago, not yesterday."

If we can't look back, we can't see the future.

Interesting and informative post BE although I don't agree with your comments about Streets. I enjoy what you have said on this board over the last few years. Not sure why you're going but I hope you come back from time to time, especially if you prove to be right about NeoMedia. I sure hope you are.
