baxterbessie- no apology necessary. I remember your posts and took them as honest effort even if the results were not "good" info for shareholders. I have done similar inquiries myself over time. Thanks for coming back and adding some positive interaction information with the company. I can't speak for anyone else but as a shareholder I am very happy to hear positive experiences with the company. If condolences are in order for your ex, I send mine along to you.

So true that your one positive event does not insure success. Add it in with the rest of the pieces and soon you have a whole puzzle completed.

Best of luck to you

Hi Baxter,
First, even though he was your 'ex', I still want to express my condolences.. It's never easy..

Secondly, I'm impressed too on how little time it took from the time you put your inquiry in to EI, to the time you received the call back and an urn ordered and being sent to you when you requested it.. Yes, I agree that is a 'WOW'! 20 minutes! They aren't messing around!

And in a world of no and never, maybe is a good place to begin.

I'm more than happy that 'maybe' worked out for you today and that you'll be burying your ex in a way that celebrated his life :)

And last but not least.. Thank you for sharing your experience today with the rest of us..

Again, my deepest condolences to you..
Bee~~

Hi Baxterbessie,

I am glad that you have been able to carry out your ex-husband's wishes for him and that you have taken the time to honor his life in such a special way. I too have read your posts in the past and have always felt that you were posting real information from the research that you have taken the time and effort to personally do. We need more posters like you who take the time to do honest DD and to pass the information on to us in a straight and principled manner. Truly, there is no need for you to ask for an apology as you have always posted real information. It has only been very recent that my wife and I actually have been given the pleasure of seeing and touching some of the products that we have only heard of prior to the 2008 convention in Orlando. We were very excited to be able to see different funeral home reps talking about and purchasing our products. We went to different booths and talked to them about Eternal Image products to see what they had to say about them and received many positive, heartfelt comments. My personal belief is that we do have a winner here as we have supply lines in place, product on hand, distribution lines in place and most importantly, demand for our product. I would welcome you back, however, as I can see, you never really left.
Have a nice trip to Spain and we will be awaiting your return.

Sympathies go out to you BB.

Last year as I was thinking of the company Eternal Image and the stock ETNL, I decided to do my DD in my own home town with my local Funeral Home, which had been passed on down through generations. In a small NH area this FH has monopolized an area of about 60,000 people. We have been very close to these people for years and decided to give them a call regarding EI. They had never heard of them:)

As is the case BB with any start-up company, But especially the funeral business, it may take a lot longer to put your name on the map. The two brothers who now run this "mom and pop" funeral home business in my area have probably never gone to an NFDA convention:) FYI- They are a multi-million dollar operation today!! Why bother, they've got the market cornered, get a few periodicals a month, and life is good.

When I decided to go to the NFDA in Orlando this year and immerse myself in the land of the funeral industry, I called the "youngster" back again, and asked him again if he had "Ever" heard of Eternal Image. He said that after our talk in the previous year, that he had looked into the company, ordered a Red Sox urn for Display, and had sold a few:) It is true, "you can teach old dogs new tricks!!" He reinforced my feelings about traveling to Orlando and seeing for myself the company called Eternal Image and the new choices of products that are available in the funeral industry.

I'm sure your ex would be pleased with your choice:)

Yours Always in Eternal Faith,
Heppie;)
