Public apology. . . .

Over the past many months I have stated on this board that I have contacted FHs "looking" for various EI products. I publically posted my lack of success and personally took that as an indicator of lack of product.

Perhaps the cosmos doesn't like a non-truth teller, because I was wrong.

Today I had an experience which completely turned me around.

On Sept 23, my ex-husband died. Everyone who knew him believed that his death was precipated by the closure of the house that Babe built coupled with the Yankees not being in the playoffs.

I was responsible for his affairs and per his wishes had his body donated for research. Yesterday I was informed that the ashes were on their way back to me. Per his request the ashes will go into the local Vet's cemetary.

Great, but now what? Do I just stick them in housed in the cardboard box?

So, after the pics and being an EI shareholder I start wishing that Yankee urns were "actually" available, knowing based on my past research that they aren't "actually" for sale.

I again checked the website, put in my zip code and "of course" got no local distributor. Being the wistful sort, I filled in a "contact us" request. 2 minutes later I had a reply from Nick. He queried as to who my local FD was. Due to the process I used, I didn't have one. Within 5 more minutes I had a call from a distributor in CA (I'm in AZ) who was kind and helpful. I won't name the distributor here, as I don't know if the info is meant to be public knowledge.

The rep had a Yankee urn in stock and offered to overnight it to me! I don't need it until Nov 12 and am going to Spain next week, so she will manage shipping so that I have it by the 12th, without it sitting on my porch while I'm gone.

Granted, I don't yet have the urn in my hands. But I would bet the bank that I will have it as promised.

So, from when I pushed send on my query to EI until the order was complete was 20 minutes~TOPS!

I am tickled for my ex and so impressed by EI.

One positive event DOES NOT insure success, but WOW, WOW, WOW
am I a re-convert!!!!!!
