Ericsson won a Major victory by settling its 2G Infrastructure sales with a FIXED $6 Million per year through 2006..It is the Sony/Ericsson 2G handset license with IDCC that will cost Nokia dearly..Ideally for IDCC would be to sign a higher 2G license with a different Infrastucture trigger such as Lucent!
in some perverse way...this might actually help...the arbitrators will now see that ericy had some ammunition to see the case through...yet they willingly signed a contract that requires them to pay ongoing royalties......i hope!!!
teecee: as I said yesterday, I am extremely spiteful, these f'ers are trying to bury IDCC, or at best cripple them... nice business partners...I hoping IDCC has got something in their toolbox to make sure these guys can't reproduce.
