BRDSNG...

I guess it could be accurately stated that in the case of
ERICY the rs was a good thing in that, out of necessity, it saved the company...but, just as accurately, the prior and pre-split share holders suffered..
Now, are you not long HRCT even now ? Would you not suffer under a scenario of being a prior holder as in ERICY.? I know I need not tell you that people here and long this stock want actions that will help and not hurt them, more that they have been hurt already...You know, every time a company goes bankrupt and emerges after a year or so , the entities sometime go on to accomplishment and market recognition , but the old stock holders are gone, dead...as in FTL (think that was old symbol of FRUIT OF THE LOOM )...
My point...Any actions that hurt the existing shr. holders is not the way to go...But. ..we don't know that for sure...However, and here is where I take serious exception to your prior posts ..."You were taught that rs were a good thing." They aren't and history shows that and even in the case of Ericy where it saved the company it could equate to killing the patient and family to save the grandchildren to follow...
Everyone recognizes that splits are usually positive ....What then can the reverse of that be ?

I never said I had excellent researce skills. I'm one of those fools that buy and sell on my gut feelings. I lost $455 on ERICY. I also bought over 200,000 shares of HRCT around 6 cents. Maybe I should listen to you since you seem to have those excellent researce skills. What stock would you suggest. Better still where do you see the price of HRCT in 6 and 12 months.

(OT)brdsng - not only that some of the folks who held made their money back as well depending on how far down they were...The bottom line is that everyone can agree that on the surface and in the majority a r/s carries a negative connotation. But it is a useful tool from time to time...And MSFT forward split made absolutely no sense recently...
