I agree if a buy out is what happens here. But the safty of the volume in the common shares is nice to have. I do like knowing if I had to dump for some reason or wanted to get out their are buyers who I can easily sell to. The Pref shares do not have the same volume as the common. But your right the Pref is the right move if your holding for an end result or a major event like a buyout etc. I may move some of my shares to pref just as a backup. I am holding off some for a big poss payout and would rather have pref as its paid before the common.
