It was the "silent Bank Run" and the shorting that was set up against Wamu by the "cartel" to go from "Has" to " had" 24 Billion..

Now they only have 5B. :(

If and when the courts decided that the largest bank robbery in the history of banking happend all before our eyes while the diversion tactic (aka bailout) was taking place, WAMU may have 24 B again.
Till then ( years in courts????) they have 5 Billion to deal with.
