Simply put there are just different trading strategies. Everyone trying to make money and different ways to do it is all. The serious flippers are in and out of stocks quickly..5 trades getting 20% gain at a pop equals 100% in the long run versus just holding for the 100% without all the trades. Pros and Cons with each style and each investor/trader makes their own decision.

p.s. IMO I would always advise taking some profits off the table when you can...as another poster says "Pigs get slaughtered".
