In addition to the excellent points already mentioned, the fact that the due date was on a Sunday may alter the time line.

Ron can probably help answer this, but as I understand it, if a contract due date falls on a Sunday or legal holiday, the legal due date would be on a Monday or the following business day.

If that is the case, PDX would have had until 5:pm Monday, to turn over requested materials.

Given their demonstrated reluctance to cooperate thus far, there is little reason to believe they would have turned it over any sooner than that.

That might explain why there isn't anything to report yet.

Also, the recent fluctuations in share price may be little more than one last "shake" by the MM's to pick up any cheepies prior to news, but that's just an IMO. Good luck, and all the best.

Ron--I think this is probably what happened--PXD turned over piles of fluff, with the real stuff either deeply buried (unlikely), omitted (most likely) or altered (possible).

I simply can not accept the proposition that the passage of time alone would change what PXD was willing to disclose, so I am left with the supposition that PXD has most likely barfed up a bunch of stuff that is not on point.

Imho, this is the legal equivalent of a fighter puffing out "chaff" to distract a missile from its target. False targets, disinformation.

PXD has probably had this package prepared for months. If PXD had turned over NOTHING, we WOULD have had that reported to us by now. Clearly, the MOSH legal team is trying to digest and filter through a big pile of fluff right now. Ideally, Kim and crew have a target list of specific "smoking guns" that they know to exist, and will cite to the judge if not found in the fluff pile (and those key docs WON'T be found in the fluff pile--if PXD intended only to delay as long as possible before accurately disclosing there are more strraight forward ways of doing so--Occam's razor rules.)

We have no idea if anything was handed over, if everything was handed over, or if an imcomplete amount was handed over.
Everything else is pure speculation
