Nevertheless, tis true as a result of their actions. As you stated, the purpose of the FDIC is to protect the funds of depositors in financial institutions. Period, full stop. No one, and I mean NO ONE cares about the shareholders. To everyone including the SEC, shareholders in companies are gamblers...win some, lose some is their attitude. When suitors looked at WaMu's books & walked away it occurred to me that someone would come along and pick up the good assets in a prearranged BK but that didn't stop me from getting stuck holding some over Thursday night. Why? Simple. Despite all the bad feelings I had, I never figured TPG Advisors who bot BILLIONS of $ of shares earlier this year would let this happen. Oops.

Well then - the fdic screwed the shareholders and that is a FACT

How can you sell ALL of a business and foreget about BONDS, Shareholders and Debt holders. That is so WRONG and could then happen to anyone.

Stockholder means you own part of the company

Big Brother needs to be sued by the shareholders of WM .

Look what that threat did for Bear holders, they got 10 instead of 2
