#404 RE: skunksyard #403

It's really quite simple.

There is an existing stock of vehicles from the previous production inventory. They arrive here without an engine or transmission, etc. The finished vehicles appear in the "..rolling.." display in the board's iBox.

They are finished at the Escondido facility, by adding the Ford 5.0 Liter drive train and 4WD components - either as standard showroom models or per customer-specific orders.

This process will continue until the exisiting inventory is exhausted and/or the new 2003s are available for sale.

Dave Hops previously had a business (..currently inactive..) called Monster Motor Sports, where they put Ford 5.0s into Mazda Miata's for people who wanted to go out and kick Corvette tushy. The Escondido facility, therefore, has adequate shops and workroom to do custom conversions and/or complete the rolling stock arriving from the factory in Italy.

Just like Lee Iacocca, Dave Hops is not a "..One Trick Pony...".
