I recall a PR, long ago, when a BMW battery, from Douglas, was compared to our present battery. Size dimensions, weight, power output,cycles, etc, between the two batteries.
A PR like that is very effective. Mass production methods, as I understand, can work on closer tolerances and assemble the battery into a smaller case. Shrinking the size would lower the weight. It would be very enlightening if such a comparison were to be made now. The Ph D's would have to use some estimates on size and weights.
