The charges the SEC has against USSE/Rivera are pale compared to the charges against Lehrman Bros., AIG, Bear-Stearns, Merril Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs ...etc., etc. and ALL of Congress is envolved in that. After that "atomic explosion", USSE is a whimper and the country will look for saviours to heal wounds and USSE/SSTP can do it's part offering alternative and cheaper fuels. I believe McCain and Obama would both jump on that one to clean their images.
