HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 1999--

Houston-based ClearWorks.net (OTC BB:CLWK) announced today a change of the company's transfer agents, to take effect in approximately two weeks. ClearWorks.net will henceforth utilize the services of Cranford, N.J.-based Registrar and Transfer Co., replacing its previous transfer agent, Olde Mammoth Co., also based in New Jersey.

According to Michael T. McClere, CEO of ClearWorks.net, the change is being made to take advantage of the "fuller range of services" offered by Registrar and Transfer Co.

Included in these services are improved record-keeping and reporting, an expert in-house legal department, a quick turnaround in stockholder-relations activities, a toll-free client information service, timely preparation of stockholder reports, tax-reporting services, annual meeting services and a range of other corporate services.

"Registrar and Transfer Co. is an experienced, tried-and-tested transfer agent that's been doing business for the last 100 years," McClere said. "They're a full-service organization that can support the growth plans that ClearWorks.net has for the new millennium."

Following the change in transfer agents, one of the first actions to be accomplished by ClearWorks.net will be a mandatory exchange of stock certificates, occasioned by the company's recent name change from ClearWorks Technologies Inc. to ClearWorks.net. New certificates issued under the corporate name redesignation include a new CUSIP number on all stock certificates, a task that Registrar and Transfer Co. will accomplish.
