Gates, I think "owning the brand" is effectively like owning the trademark to the name though. If you own a brand name, you should get pennies on the dollar for any use of that logo/name in certifications by Green Globe 21 (which now appears to BE ec3), ec3, Green Globe NZ, etc...
BUT, if that were the case, why aren't they telling us that? I'd want to brag about that.
Is "owning the brand" just a more confident way of saying "having the right to distribute"? If that is the case, and ec3, GGNZ, and others can also "own the brand", then we don't necessarily have anything royalty-wise....but if "own the brand" means the trademarked logo/name, then I think the potential is huge.
