To their defense - getting new phone systems working is a lot harder than it sounds. We've been trying to get one of our customers' new VoIP phone systems going and the Telco has to allow 30+ business days for the transfer. Even after that is done, routing properly within the LAN becomes the next challenge. If HCPC's new lines are strictly analog, then it'll take 20 - 30 business days for the phones to transfer. Otherwise, it could take longer.

Nevertheless, you other point is well taken :).
