Anpha Capital Group (“ACG”) announces official corporate name change to
Saigon Asset Management Corporation (“SAM”).
(Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – August 21, 2008) Anpha Capital Group, the investment manager for Vietnam Equity Holding (VEH) and Vietnam Property Holding (VPH) today announced its official corporate name change to Saigon Asset Management Corporation (SAM). Along with the name change, SAM has updated its new corporate website location to: http://www.saigonam.com. The change will be effective from August 1, 2008.
“The corporate name change is to differentiate ourselves from various companies with a similar name in Vietnam. This also reinstates the long term commitment of SAM to Vietnam. The new SAM has renewed its group-wide commitment to putting the company's management philosophies into practice and to enhance its brand value and strive to become a leading fund management company in Vietnam” according to Dr. Lee G Lam, chairman of VEH and VPH.
“We’ve chosen to rename our company to SAM because Saigon is a globally renowned city and best represents our business, our mission and our corporate values” adds Louis Nguyen, CEO and Chairman of SAM.
