Too bad A-Rod and Giambi can't do this in a close game.

On Sunday Giambi and A-Rod lead Yankees in a rout of Royals. Last night, nothing.

Giambi's failure to get clutch hits is worse than that of A-Rod. Makes you wonder if the Yankees will press hard for Texiera in the off season.

Despite the injuries the pitching has been good enough to win if only the Yankees offense provided decent run support.

A few years ago, Yankee offense could not keep pace with the number of runs given up by the likes of Kevin Brown and Jared Wright. This season if a Yankees pitcher gives up 3 or less runs there is no guarantee that the Yankees will score enough runs to win the game.
