You would think that the big boys like Lehman Bros. as well as the rest of the investment funds that have taken a huge position in Sirius,and there are several, should be able to handle this problem of "naked shorting" !!! On a small stock I was in a couple of years ago, some poster started a campaign to have all longs call their brokers and ask them to send them their stock certificates Don't know if it worked in that case, but just imagine what could happen if these "big investors" were to do that ???? Where in the world would these various brokerages pick up enough shares to send to their customers ???? If the naked shorts really have gone way beyond the amount of registered shares, and continued short selling bogus ones, we could see a flurry of "panic buying" by these shorts to attempt to cover as quickly as possible.I'm sure pople much more knowledgable than most of us, are aware of this problem.
