Thi shas been brought up many times.


Scanbuy can read all codes. It is a universal reader. In the United States they disabled reading of all other codes, and it can only read EZcodes.

The reason for this is because they believe thier code reading application works the fastest and are trying to force the adoption of this better format.


In any event, it is irrelevant if an application ca read 100's of types of formats or only 1 type of code.

Ultimately, the best application is the once that reads the millions of codes that we hope will be in the real world.

So if the EZcode is the one we see in the street, than Scanbuy will win.

If it is Qrcode, or datamatrix, or AZtec, etc..., then what will probably happen is Scanbuy will modify its application to also read these types of codes.

Has anyone with scanlife checked to see if it does work or not. It was nice to have confirmation that it does not work! Further is is strange that Ralph L would go with Scanlife if it results in a bad experience for all US users! Strange.
