N E O M, it looks like Ralph Lauren is promoting multiple code readers as bleedingedge mentioned:

The NeoReader is the only reader recommended for the iPhone."
Users with ScanLife installed on their phones wont be able to read Ralph Lauren QR codes here in the US.
