Sometimes you have to look at guys on an individual basis, Just take a look at their starter era that is all we need to know. Blanton ERA is over 5, Eaton has now been demoted to the bullpen, so he can mess that up now. Kendrick is pitching to a 4.87 era. Myers has been down in the minors, and now is back up pitching to almost a 6 era if that doesn't scare you, then I don't know what will. As for the bullpen the phillies bullpen has grossly overachieved , and is allready showing sign of cracking 2 rbis, by delgado yesterday, and 3 run homer by reyes the previous day. Their bullpen guys are not any better then the mets guys in my opinion, and although they have been better, the law of averages tells me most of the time, players revert to their historical number, just like cano is starting to hit, you know something are just going to happen. And Lidge is probabley going to blow some saves this season considering he has been perfect so far, I think a couple of key losses are on the way.
Here's a stat two the phillies need to beat the mets at some point, I mean they dominated the mets in 2007, but in 2008 the mets have dominated them. By the way it would help if Jimmy rollins gets to the game on time. Just my opinion.
