My understand is that oil is 42 gallons per barrel? Yes typical 55 gallon drums I'm aware of but oil I think is 42 gallons.

It has been since around 2004-5 since this was around .04-.05 I still have 1/2 of my stock left for that day to happen again! : )

glad you are helping tonight! Let me correct you! a barrel of oil contains 42 gallons, not 55!

You are referring to a DRUM which contains 55 gallons

A charting gods education with diesel engines is lacking:

You say to do my math on burning feul oil... in my line of work I use a K19 cummings diesel engine... thats 600hp at 1800rpm it burns 26gl per hour...I can burn more feul by lunch time than all 27 producing oil wells and thats just one engine...I have 2 engines so you do the math on that and tell me what you think...
