You should use Yukon Jack if you're trying to keep it lit.

A little humor for your Thursday market close..

Just for shits and giggle I went back over to the PNMS board.

Can you believe that there's STILL, to this day, people over there defending those crooks and hoping to cash in big on that crock of crap?

It's TRULY AMAZING! And it's no wonder this market is such a cesspool.

The temptation is just too great to go to the dark side, especially when there's nobody who's ever going to challenge you on it in any meaningful(legal)way.

Earth quake in LA today.

So...they started in Indonesia, went up the Asian side of the Pacific Rim, took a short break, went back down to Indonesia, moved across the Pacific to S.America, then Mexico I believe(have some volcanic activity down there too I think) and now LA/SD.

So here's my prediction...after the 5.4 in LA, within 2 mths there will be a 6-7+ near the Oregon/Calif border, and then...just about the time of the election or early next year there will be huge 9+ Subduction quake off our coast.

That one creates a huge tsunami that washes away all the sticks and bodies laying on the ground from the quake.
Soon afterward, the ash from the new off-shore monster volcano will bury it all and after a few months of loud sounds and much fury, the volcano will cool down and world will return to normal...Sans a very large boatload of Californians/Oregonians and Nevadans.

I'm directing this to you in particular because I'm pretty sure the volcano will appear near the Cal/Or borderline. Now calculating the rough trajectory of the most common onshore wind flow puts oh, 70% of the ash somewhere near your neighborhood. :D

I just hope my hanging tomatoes have a chance to ripen before the end of the world comes. I'm really looking forward to eating them.
