Seems so quiet. For over a year some people have been there every day to personally attack the management and accuse them of criminal activity. Now nothing. What could have caused this silence?

You might want to read the article in the Las Vegas Review Journal reporting on the results of a lawsuit by General Cigar against the same people Royal Spring Water sued for fraud.

http://www.lvrj.com/business/24623674.html

General Cigar sued on 12 causes of action and won on 10 of them. According to the article General was awarded $770,000 in damages plus legal fees. Data Commodities, Ltd filed for bankruptcy just 4 days before they lost the case. Data Commodities was also told that they could no longer use the Cohiba name for cigars and rum.

Also in the article it mentions that the owner of Data Commodities, a Mr. Phil Restifo, filed for personal bankruptcy just two months before the General Cigar lawsuit was filed.

The web site for the group of losers now just has a whiney little cry baby message about how life is tough for the little counterfeiters.

No wonder it is quiet.

Just wanted to point out some interesting similarities. Data Commodities, Ltd. and the people sued successfully by Royal Spring Water were also successfully sued by General Cigar. While looking at their website something stood out.

http://www.cohibarum.com/

One of their logos is Cohiba Caribbean’s Finest. Even though it is their logo and they spelled it correctly on their USPTO application on their own website they call it “Cohiba Carribbeans Finest”

They used the word liquor twice and misspelled it the same way twice (liqour).

They used Counterfeiters twice and misspelled it conterfeiters both times.

Honest was spelled honost

The month of june was used twice and not capitalized either time.

Mogul was spelled mogel

At the end of the cry baby message they say they will be back with “newer and better Products” Guess the old ones were pretty bad.

Who do we know on this board that has a spelling problem?
