Hi, See. Nice to see someone noticed my absence -- good to feel missed, LOL!
Just swamped getting ready to leave. Catching up on messages this morning. Went up to Fresno in California's central valley on Wednesday to pick up the camper van, and drove back on Friday. Busy packing and storing. Leaving (at least planning on leaving) Aug. 1st. Will be happy when I can put the pedal to the metal and hit the road -- I don't much like this preparation stage, closing down one phase of my life, opening another. . . I've always hated goodbyes!
Anyway, I plan to keep in touch as much as possible. I have wireless on my laptop, and should be able to connect fairly regularly. Just hoping the gas situation doesn't end up with rationing during my trip! As it is, the trip will cost me a lot more than it would have a year or two ago. . . Well, as Zeev was fond of saying, c'est la vie!
