1:JPM will have to cough up some + penalties plus forgive the incurred legal advance for failure as the acting trustee, lacking badly in their fiduciary duty, forget the puppet who rubber-stamped everything!
Their name/clout is at stake at this point and they charged plenty...look at the bills.
Otherwise this will hit PRIME news and they could essentially close their trustee department as being untrustworthy.
2: I know that some of you want a quick settlement, take the money and run. I've been into this too long to look kindly at this.
Furthermore PXD charged the trust for legal fees, abandonment, sold part to Woodside (another story altogether), bought illegally shares in the trust etc..... the list is long, which needs to be rectified and paid back to the trust, before talking any kind of settlement.
3: So far PXD and their high fallutin' lawyers have tried every which way and it won't end there. I expect some more delays along the way.
4: However the trial date has been set!
5: Some more crucial seismic , which BTW the trust paid for, on PXD's part needs to be delivered and has been lagging and slowly forth coming......still not complete.
