We do not know if IDCC will be collecting for Td-SCDMA or how much so it is difficult to answer your questions. I doubt if anybody else knows for sure. I do know if IDCC is collecting for Td-SCDMA from SPRD, they will be collecting from all the other manufacturers.

The important part of the agreement is IDCC contribution.

SPRD was selling one product, TD-SCDMA. With IDCC contribution, SPRD will be selling WCDMA/HSDPA products and I assume they will be going to Unicom. Now if SPRD was smart, it would seek QCOM and sell CDMA2000 products to China Telecom. Worldwide distribution of its products would depend on the handset manufacturers.
