Cole,

"was Navistar behind...
in their financials "when" they got their gov. contract?"
---Yes they were. And they are still behind. Have still not filed for the first 2 quarters of this year.

"Were they being sued by the SEC?"
----Yes they were/are investigated by the SEC over their Financial Statements, amongst other things.

"Had they been thrown off their exchange?"
----Navistar was booted of the NYSE

They have achieved quite a few of your criteria. They most certainly meet risk_it_us's criteria for a scam company.

Cole, two of your questions I can answwer: Was Navistar behind...

in their financials "when" they got their gov. contract?
YES! They still are. 1Q & 2Q '08. They WERE behind all the way back to 2002.

Had they been thrown off their exchange? YES. The NYSE of all places.

The others, I just don't know.

But they ARE building 500 MRAPS/month not 100 miles from where I sit.

FYI: An MRAP is a big, honking, armored "mine-and-IED-resistant" truck. And they roll by my office on flatbeds to the tune of a dozen or so per day, every day. And NAVZ is STILL behind on their numbers
