I own some PINN and it did well for me lately.
CBM is highly leveraged to ngas price, that's why I like it. I remember I made tons of money in 2004-2005 in a few CBM players. I don't remember their names now. I hope they announce increase production soon. They can JV these wells out or ask individual investors to pay for the drilling costs.
In the presentation, the ROI is about 40-50% for 5 dollar gas, or 80-90% for 8 dollar gas. At 13 dollar gas, they can definitely ask partners to drill it for free in return for 50% of the output.
