#2416 RE: canric #2412

Good info canric. I figured I would mention the gas explosion that was brought up about 10 days back having an effect on WA miners. FMG, one of AYSI's large customers had this to say (cut and paste from Yahoo Australia article):

Iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group Ltd (ASX: FMG.ax) already relies almost entirely on diesel and sees little effect from the shut down, a company spokesman said.

So I don't think the nat gas explsoion is oging to have a big effect on things short term, (nor long term as this was more a short term event).

Good luck and Happy Father's day...

Also, we should see what Australian miners get for iron ore by late June/early July:

A bit ad nauseum but here's a clip (from above link) about China still trying very hard to invest in bringing more iron ore online (maybe will be big for driving Mongolia iron ore and mining production too going forward- China has lots of $$):

China is also seeking to bolster its direct access to iron ore supplies, investing in mining projects and companies both at home and abroad.
