Bob, this would be true if...
they had anything significant to show for the last 8 years.

But look what they have done for 8 years...
They have burned through millions of dollars and only have 100 feet on a tether to show for it.
They tried Vern, Jones, Murch etc... they don't know how to do this, they're grasping at straws trying to keep "hope" alive.
TAO has never had anything even approaching what the Strat was supposed to do and the strat is in need of an overhaul after going to 100 feet, what a joke.
The pie in the sky, cross-fingered strat was supposed to be the icing on the cake, over the "real" opportunities like Centerline, MagicMoney etc... Well guess what, the real opportunities are all gone now, the only thing left is the Strat hype and they've spent 8 years proving it's a miserable failure.
The only thing left is the 65,000 foot fantasy!
