I'm well aware that it's a downgrade beermaker, but I personally like the word speculative gone. Next time it will be from neutral to BUY or even better STRONG BUY or even better yet IRRATIONALLY EXUBERANT STRONG BUY. ;)

If a hold recommendation to a buy is an upgrade

then a buy recommendation to a hold is a downgrade

Wavx has been downgraded. This much we now know.

I assume it reflects the fact that the stock went up so significantly so quickly and that the risk of some retrenchment would outweigh the up side in the short term. Clearly a downgrade in the relative sense but ususally worth understanding the basis for actions up or down.

Well, on April 16th when Taglich initiated coverage with a speculative strong buy, wavx closed at .90 that day and made a steady decline for a week and a half to an all time low of a closing price of 69. If history is any guide with this "downgrade" we should go to higher, not lower. LOL
