#18314 RE: logman #18313

Helloooo....

Walter is gone... "Retired"

http://finance.google.com/finance?cid=664329&morenews=10&rating=1&newsbefore=2007-09-18

The sequence of events is that they filed the 15-12G on Sept 13, 2007, and the news announcing the CEO retirement was dated on Sept 17, 2007... so there was no SEC filing requirement to make the news more widely known.

The company as you knew it DIED way back in September... the debenture debt has since been called in... probably has been converted already since February... and PWTC has basically been an empty shell since then... changed ownership, and the ownership of the new owner has changed ownership, and, if you hadn't noticed it yet, PWTC is basically priced and trades as an empty shell with no information or news... about as ugly as it gets, right?

I'm making no secret of my "agenda" here... which is only to learn what I can about PWTC from people here who know more about it than I do. I'll share what I know in return... That's it.

This is no longer the story that it was a year ago... although I don't find any of the discussion of the past history particularly problematic. I'd like more info on the idea that Firefly has been and is infringing, and on the concept that there are/were some links between PWTC sources of origin of IP and Firefly. Tell me more... I don't know the ancient history.

Now it seems no one here knows who the CEO is... but, the company has changed ownership... and no doubt has changed management... and its future prospects... but, with the Form 15 filing, there is also a near totally impenetrable news blackout ?

My guess... and it is just a guess... is that the new CEO of PWTC right now is Mel Roseman. IF that is the case, I'd find that a vastly more interesting development than not. Mr. Roseman has the sort of work experience in his background that I'd find highly useful here... along with useful connections at former employers that I expect would also be highly useful.

I'm not interested in the shares here because I think Walter is still around and I'm hoping he can get it back to a penny... That history is dead and gone, and the shell, under new ownership and new management, is in process of transformation. I'm here, and interested, only because the old management IS gone, and I think it is vastly more likely that someone else might be better able to get it back up to a penny...
