Hawk, unfortunately I dont see anyway around it. We're trying to change an entire countrys upbringing, imagine if we were told that we had to start being governed by a Hussain like person, we wouldn't like that either!

Yep, how long did reconstruction take in Germany/Italy/Japan after WWII? How long has it taken Eastern Europe after the fall of the "wall" to get economically/socially/governmentally firing on all cyllinders. Throw in the fact that there's the whole religious factor here, and the lower socio-economic status of a good deal of the iraqi population, and you have a daunting task to change their culture. It will take a lot of time, money, and unfortunately lives, but that said, I don't think there's any other option now but to see it through..
