OD - in this case the X-Gold 608 is the baseband used in the XMM 6080 "platform" (like a reference design) - which includes other components.

check out the block diagram on page 2 of this pdf

I thought the 608 had HSUPA too?

olddog,

t looks like Infineon's XMM 6080 comes under their XMM family of chips, which are different then their Gold family.

It is the same as the MP-EH which is part of the Gold family. The difference is the single integrated feature. Merritt already said it was revenue producer for IDCC.
