If you want your DAQEX calls to exercise...


Call your broker or give instructions to do so online...

otherwise they expire...as they are within 5 cents of the $22.50 strike...and Won't auto-exercise...

(next month the criteria is only 1 cent)

The battle was to close below 22.55, the level at which there would be automatic excercise of the options. Thus, 22.54 was a minor victory for shorts and call writers. The holders of May 22.50 calls must take action to exercise their very slightly in the money calls. The automatic exercise at .01 in the money starts next month. I'm very glad we held 22.50, but would have prefered a close at 22.55 or higher. Rich

I don't think anyone will be calling in shares that held options on the $22.50s. Even if they paid a nickel they lost a penny. I'm not an options person but even though they finished in the money probably most didn't lose all but most of what they invested in those options thus a victory for the shorts.
