Roth-Anderson is the name of the study

being done in Houston, directed/supervised by Dr. Roth at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, that could be the turning point in coverage approval in the future.

If Dr. Roth and those participating in the study find that CyberKnife is more effective than surgery for lung cancer treatments... then that might open the floodgates of change!

Let's face it: patients do not like to be cut open; it involves pain and all sorts of risks of infection... including a rarer type of MRSA that is hard to cure if it happens to be present & caught.

(This is one of the dark secrets of hospitals... patients can catch infections while there that kill them!)

Typically it costs more for open surgery and recovery than it does for CK treatment!

Insurance companies WILL get the idea EVENTUALLY... but Dr. Roth could be decisive IF he gets the results he seems to be expecting!

IMO...
