I hear you. I guess everyone gambling in Pink and OTC has suffered from similar situation. For example if you have bought this stock at 5 and then they pull R/S with 1000:1 factor when the PPS is 1, then the PPS afrer R/S starts with 0.1 and it may even go a little up like 12 or 13 cents for a few days, then it starts sinking again. So yeah, if you bought at 5 before R/S , you won't get your money back but if you did at 1, there is chance to save yourself.
