Hi Golf nut, the best answer is the one Bruce gave you, reason being that if you don't have the winsock 2 upgrade you probably don't have any of the other upgrades. Win 95 had a whole lot of upgrades, some were due to the year 2000 programing problem. I did a quick check there are over 80 updates for win95, and you should install most of them. I remember it got to be a real bear to do all the updates One of the reasons I went to win 98 and then to ME and then to XP. When ever you format the hard drive you have to install the OS and all the upgrades. Ok To get you going here, here is where you need to go. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en If my memory is correct you need to do the winsock 2 update first and then the dun 1.4 update. put winsock 2 in the search and you get the page for the update, put dun in and you get the 1.3 and 1.4 updates. If you leave the search screen blank and just click on the arrow you get all the updates.
