re: knock your socks off!

Reminds me of that morning after too many beers,
the night prior.

Reached in the drawer for socks, and got some.

Sat on the floor and plupped the socks in front of me.

Picked up first sock, located a foot and put it on.

Picked up second sock and put it on second foot.

Picked up third sock but could not locate third foot.

Later I thought about this and was glad that I did not
find a third foot.

re: new winamp

lost,
I deleted the old winamp preinstalled on my new WinXP pc
and downloaded the latest,
but...
I was not the Administrator, and install was denied,
and since I'm not up to speed yet on the structure of the
Windows XP folders and access ability,
I dumbed-down and signed on as Administrator
and ran install ok.
Later I'll figure out which folders etc I can re-direct
the download into so a Limited can install and create
and delete stuff outside the critical operating stuff.
It may be as simple as doing a TREE command at DOS Prompt
and look for LIMITED in the file structure,
or better yet RTFM :o)

re: internet radio stations...

lost,

I'am slow learning how to use this winamp program,
but so far found a long list of available radio stations
that is searchable using keywords, and for my oldies
of the late 50s early 60s I only found one station,
but its 50s - 70s.

Quick yes/no answer needed for question:

If I obtain a station using:
http://www.radio-locator.com
Can I add that URL or whatever is used into WinAmp?

I just tried the above radio-locator web site and glad
to report that its easy to use. I entered UT for a state
and it listed lots of web radio stations, so I hope eventually
I can find that one long ago that played only late 50 - early 60.
