nice little sideline to have, being an energy baron. In my opinion, you could sell the mineral and surface rights, but it would be nuts to not keep royalty. who knows how high things will go, and a percentage of the action, even if it costs you some upfront immediate cash from them, is probably a good idea. at least the doghouse would be warm in the winter.
Or take the rights public, and start a pinksheet company that actually has some gas in it.
