I think the run-up was fueled by some awareness for Wave's potential due to something unknown and for sure there was some accumulation to hold taking place...there would almost have to have been considering the price many paid near the top of the move...yesterday's pre-market showed that.
I believe some of the sell-off was savvy Wavoid traders, who bought the runup or bought the recent lows, taking profits from their trading blocks.
