awk, with respect, Wave's , ahem, patent portfolio is a waste of time at this stage. Sure they get a penny here or there, but the first two in your list are set to expire this year as I read it, the rest lack traction, the company has long held to the notion that the best thing to do with a patent is to brag about it but not USE it.

Real companies shut up about their patents, but exploit them. Fools brag about their patents and watch dust collect on them.

You do recall PJS remarking how AOL and AAPL were all so aware and reverent of Wave's "patents".

Talk to me about the iPOD and whether Wave was a bit snotty and foolish.
