For anyone who has a private acct the days of 'buy and hold' (for years) are gone. Tell that to shareholders of Enron, Global Crossings, Countrywide, BearSterns, etc. Employees of those companies whom were expected to buy company shrs and hold them now must take legal recourse for damages against their employers. Sadly, it does not restore the value lost in their retirement accts. In pennyland 2 weeks to a month is considered 'long term' by some. HCPC may change that habit. MHO - RTB
