jai,

I don't think laziness has anything to do with it. It's the culture of our management team. Guy Hicks was very communicative, but he's gone. Still wondering why Gercestein was shown the door.

wonder why Fagan can't give range projections on the value of these licenses. Is he lazy?

jai, I'm resigned to the belief that Wall St. investors looking at IDCC all reside in MO (the 'Show Me' state) and until the company puts the numbers on the board, any guidance that Fagan gives will yield barely a fraction it should in the share price.

IMO, it's then and only then that we'll rise into the 30's and not look back. Earnings and money in the bank to apply to future licensee sales.

And I will wait. These MO investors all have friends throughout the investing world.

Enjoy your weekend.

Question...Since IDCC does not receive royalty based on the Market cap of its licensees..but rather a percentage of covered product SALES..Do you think at a 1% royalty for Rimm and Sierra..IDCC will generate more than $7 million dollars in recurring revenue in 2004 from both these Companies?TIA

Time for Fagan to STEP UP.

Looking at SWIR take off, up almost $5 a share today and RIMM up over $8 a share past $104 it makes me wonder why Fagan can't give range projections on the value of these licenses. Is he lazy?

We have just had 3 licenses with major data device manufactures who are all doing well. We know the terms of these licenses. Why can't a numeric range be put on revenue that will be generated from these companies in the next year?

I look at SIRI and its $4.3 Billion dollar market cap and $12 mil yearly revenue and think maybe we can project some value into this company by getting investors to beleive we will have a solid revenue stream.

FROM SIRI 10K

"Total Revenue. Total revenue increased $12,067 to $12,872 for the year ended December 31, 2003 from $805 for the year ended December 31, 2002."

Fagan has to do a better job at numbers projections. The "if I don't say anything I can't be wrong" attitude is not good for this stock price. I like to see him be better prepared at the next CC and start acting like a real CFO, you know the ones who actually guide analysts instead of having analyst guide them. This whole "I read what you read" crap when asked about handset sales is getting old. I know we are up today but why is it wall street can see potential in IDCCS license base and not in IDCC?

jai, Fagan is incompetent. How can he project future numbers when he can't even remember what recent numbers were? During EVERY conference call, whenever someone asks him to repeat some numbers that he mentioned before, his response is "oh... uh... i don't remember off the top of my head... i'll have to check." And then we wait several seconds while we hear him flipping thru the pages. We could probably fit an additional 2 questions into the Q&A portion of each CC if he could remember the numbers. It really reflects poorly on the company when the CFO comes across as a bumbling idiot. This is not what we need when we are trying to attract additional analysts and institutional investors.

Jai, and what if he does, and what if he isn't right? Are you and many others here going to crap all over him? In Q4 Uncle Billy stepped up. And after IDCC/Merritt refused to grant additional concessions and missed their target, what happened? Oh boy, the anguish I read on this board over credibility and missed opportunities.... Anyway, there is no reason to step up at this time. Rimm and SWIR are small potatoes. Maybe if NEC comes up with a huge number, then I can see IDCC making a pre-announcement. But not for RIMM and alike. They are too, too small.

Regards,

Bob

Fagan is not lazy, simply in a position far beyond his limited abilities.
