Capt. Billy, There's no tag. I know who put you up to it. You have to collect a salary from him. I am just disappointed in you.

One more thing since you want to bring up Taz and Tammi. That's who I got the phone call from about the anchor. The reason they quit is because they didn't want to be any part of the way the company was run. I could use the 4 letter word that starts with an S and ends with an M, that was used in the phone call, but I won't. Taz and Tammi are 2 of the most honest and best divers I know.

And as far as not wanting anything or a percentage for giving Wilf a wreck. Wilf lied to you again. I ask for one of the new metal detectors that Wilf was a supplier of and one of the old ones that DPBM had laying around for my son, WIlf gave up the old one and never was good at his word. When I kept calling him about the new Aqua Pulse, it was always 2 more weeks. ( I think I've heard that a lot from DPBM). I never did get it.

If you could see the trees in the forest, you would know that I wanted DPBM to succeed without taking a percentage of something.

I still wish the company luck.

Capt Billy I wasn't going to post on this but something I find strange in all of this. In your story about the ledge site it sounds like nobody from the company ever dove that site to confirm if it was there. You seem to only go by what they brought up [anyone correct me if I am wrong].

Then later the company tried for the other deep site Toms Wreck and never dove that. You sent down a camera and gave up before identifying if it was as promised [spending a lot of time trying to learn to use a side scan].

Anyway I just find that odd.

As far as the anchor goes I don't think any Spanish vessels carried only one anchor in those days that carried treasure, so if there was a wreck it would seem logical that there would be more anchors than just one. Also anchors don't drift much [they are anchors after all] so if this ship was wrecked you would think by now it would be easy to have found the rest of them.

Also strange not a single cannon in that area either.

At least in the DR though you have an identified site. I can see why the company is focusing on that now, it seems to make sense.

Very interesting Billy. It all sounds about right.

I hope the new boat treats you well. Good luck to you and the Deep Blue team.
