Then later the company tried for the other deep site Toms Wreck and never dove that. You sent down a camera and gave up before identifying if it was as promised [spending a lot of time trying to learn to use a side scan].
Anyway I just find that odd.
As far as the anchor goes I don't think any Spanish vessels carried only one anchor in those days that carried treasure, so if there was a wreck it would seem logical that there would be more anchors than just one. Also anchors don't drift much [they are anchors after all] so if this ship was wrecked you would think by now it would be easy to have found the rest of them.
Also strange not a single cannon in that area either.
At least in the DR though you have an identified site. I can see why the company is focusing on that now, it seems to make sense.
