Loop, glad to see you're up and about. Heard it was a ruptured appendix. Had the same happen to me 6 years ago. 7 days before I went in. Thought it was a bad case of the flu. Was almost too late. ICU for 14 days. 6 weeks before I got out. Still have a 4-inch hernia in the gut from the rushed exploratory that never healed. Remember the needles and the draining as well. But the worst part was the food, now that was bad.
Slow and easy is the way to go. And again good to see you posting.
OT Loop: You're living proof of the old axiom: "You can't keep a good man down." Wishing you a speedy rehab and a rapid refill of the ole P&V which makes you uniquely "the Loop." Keep smiling!
OT Great to hear, the one thing I dread is bad medical news for myself or others, hope you continue to get better on your road to recovery, sounds like the big man upstairs sent you a little miracle, when you are 100 percent it will make life that much sweeter
OT:Loop--Your battle is almost won, is it not? I must say to you after two open heart surgeries of my own---I've never felt so GOOD in my life as after feeling so BAD. Comparison and appreciation, I reckon. Good luck; I am so very glad you are back. ST1640
